Vanessa is a registered Occupational Therapist in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapist and a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapist. She graduated from the University of Queensland with a Masters of Occupational Therapy Studies, and Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo.
She has clinical practice experience in geriatric rehabilitation, adolescent mental health. In addition, performing assessments and treating individuals who have been injured in a motor vehicle accident. She performs in-home assessments to identify functional limitations and needs for assistance from physical, cognitive and psychological impairments. Vanessa provides occupational therapy services for individuals with acute and chronic illness, such as traumatic brain injuries, mental health conditions and musculoskeletal conditions. She has also completed the Brain Basics Training Program through the Ontario Brain Injury Association (OBIA).
