Assessments
Return to Work
Functional Abilities Evaluation
- Computerized assessment tools accurately determine a worker’s abilities to safely meet the demands of the job. The results guide rehabilitation and work conditioning / work hardening.
Physical Demands Analysis
- Each job has a unique set of physical and cognitive demands. Based on worker and supervisor interviews, observation of a worker in the position and a review of the job description, our therapist determines the specific demands of the job.
Job Site Analysis
-
Using ergonomic principles, we analyze the work site to determine risk factors for injury, such as excessive lifting, carrying or awkward, sustained postures.
We recommend workplace modifications to optimize function and to reduce the risk of injury.
Workplace accommodation
- With skill and knowledge relating to ergonomics, physical and cognitive impairments, as well as workplace legislation, we facilitate worker success at work through accommodation.
Transferable Skills Analysis
-
Sometimes, despite focused therapy and job accommodations, a person cannot return to the work they once did.
That’s when a vocational assessment can identify transferable skills that can be applied to other jobs.
