Alana is an Occupational Therapist in good standing with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and is an active member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists. Alana graduated from the University of Toronto, in the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy (OS&OT), with a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy. She graduated from Queen’s University with an Honours Bachelor of Arts with Distinction, in Health Studies. Alana holds an Adjunct Lecturer Appointment in the Department of OS&OT at the University of Toronto, and in her role, is a Faculty Advisor and Co-Investigator on an MScOT Graduate Research team and Clinician Mentor with the Diversity Mentorship Program. Alana’s scholarly achievements include co-authoring peer-reviewed research publications at international, national and local levels.
Alana brings unique experiences in the brain health space - bridging practice, teaching, and research innovation- having worked with diverse teams across clinical, research and education practice contexts, and in community environments.
