We take a personalized approach to brain training. Using the information from our assessment, we develop a therapy program that is fun, interesting and that helps our client address cognitive impairments.  

Brain training takes practice which can be supplemented by using:

We provide case management services for individuals who have sustained a spinal cord injury. Our goal is to ensure your safety, quality of care, and cost management. 

Our case manager will:

• Work with you to determine care options and to help you plan and put them in place.
• Facilitate technologies:
  • Modern wheelchairs
  • Computer adaptations
  • Electronic aids to daily living (switch or voice controlled)
  • Electrical stimulation
  • Robotic gait training
• Coordinate your care with members of your Circle of Care: medical, therapies, nursing, personal support, family

There are a variety of causes of physical impairments including arthritis, congenital such as cerebral palsy, and spinal cord injuries.

Physiotherapists treat your impairments to reduce disability. Occupational therapists explore ways of enabling function despite impairments.

These days, hospital stays tend to be shorter and there are fewer government supports to help you when you get home. We can supplement your care with privately funded services. 

Case management to:

• Figure out what services you need.
• Put the services in place.
• Join you at medical appointments to ensure that you get the follow through needed.

Occupational therapy:

• Home safety assessment to ensure you are secure in your home environment.
• Arrange for the purchase or rental of assistive devices or therapy equipment and facilitate getting it delivered and installed.
• Arrange home modifications.
• Implement a plan to resume your usual daily activities gradually and safely.

Physiotherapy:

• Go to your home to help you build your range of motion and strength.
• Practice navigating stairs inside and outside your home.
• Apply treatments to reduce pain.
